  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon ginger syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • ¼ cup almond milk or oat milk (dairy-free alternative)
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. To make the gingerbread syrup, combine water, sugar, molasses, ginger syrup, ground ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until boiling; let cool and store in the fridge.
  2. For the cream topping, mix one tablespoon of gingerbread syrup with heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Froth your milk by heating it gently until simmering and using a French press or frother to create foam.
  4. In a mug, blend one cup of coffee with two tablespoons of gingerbread syrup. Add frothed milk and top with whipped cream and ground cinnamon.
