  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for almond topping)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Dissolve yeast in warm water; let it foam.
  2. Heat milk, sugar, and butter until melted; combine with flour mix and add eggs, vanilla, and lemon zest.
  3. Knead dough until smooth; let rise in a greased bowl until doubled.
  4. For the topping, melt butter in a saucepan; stir in honey, cream, and almonds until smooth.
