  • 2 pounds cubed stew beef

  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon
  • 1 ½ pounds golden Yukon potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1 large yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Pour beef broth into the crockpot and add cubed stew beef.
  2. Sprinkle in garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and beef bouillon. Stir gently to coat the meat.
  3. Layer chopped potatoes, sliced carrots, and onions on top of the seasoned beef.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours until beef is fork-tender.
  5. About 15 minutes before serving, add frozen sweet peas.
  6. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry; stir into the stew and cook on high for an additional 10 minutes until thickened.
