  • 1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy) substituted with ground turkey or chicken sausage
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
