  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ½ cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup cream cheese (softened)
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water and sugar in a bowl; sprinkle in the yeast and let it sit until frothy (5-10 minutes).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, crushed cookies, and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture along with softened butter, eggs, and warm milk; mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour until doubled in size.
  4. For the filling, mix softened butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and crushed cookies in another bowl.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface; spread the filling evenly before rolling tightly into a log shape and cutting into individual rolls.
  6. Place the rolls close together in a baking dish; cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For frosting, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
