  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons espresso powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder
  • 1 tablespoon melted chocolate

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, instant yeast, and sugar. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Add melted butter and eggs, then gradually mix in flour until soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a warm area covered with a towel to rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
  3. Combine softened butter, brown sugar, espresso powder, and cinnamon in a bowl; set aside chopped chocolate.
  4. Roll risen dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread filling evenly and sprinkle chopped chocolate before rolling into a log.
  5. Cut rolled dough into 12 pieces and place them closely in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Whisk together glaze ingredients while rolls cool slightly; drizzle generously over warm rolls.
